Position SummaryThe Technical Inspector - provides dedicated coordination, oversight, and operational support at federal facility located in Aurora, Colorado, within the Denver metropolitan area. This role is critical to ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant execution of fill operations within restricted and controlled airfield environments.Acting as the central coordination authority, the Technical Inspector serves as the primary point of contact for all project-related scheduling, logistics, and communications. The position requires continuous engagement with multiple stakeholders, including construction contractors, Security Forces, Airfield Management, and the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), to synchronize activities and maintain uninterrupted mission operations.The role involves managing access to restricted areas, coordinating material deliveries, aligning construction activities with airfield operations, and proactively identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts or operational constraints. The Technical Inspector ensures all activities comply with installation security protocols, safety requirements, and project timelines, while maintaining clear, accurate, and timely communication across all parties involved. This position is essential to maintaining situational awareness, operational control, and project continuity within a high-security, mission-critical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Coordination & OversightManage construction project coordinationOversee material movement into restricted areasEnsure compliance with security and safety requirementsStakeholder CoordinationCoordinate between contractors, security forces, airfield management, and CORFacilitate communication and resolve conflictsScheduling & Logistics ManagementDevelop and manage delivery and access schedulesAlign contractor activities with airfield operationCompliance & MonitoringMonitor contractor compliance with safety and security requirementsIdentify and resolve issues in real-timeReporting & DocumentationMaintain logs of activities and deliveriesProvide updates and reports to CORMinimum QualificationsExperience in construction coordination or project oversightExperience in controlled or restricted environments preferredKnowledge of construction operations and logisticsProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelU.S. citizenshipAssociate's degree in Engineering, Physics, or MathematicsClearanceActive Secret ClearanceLocationOn base, Buckley Space Force Base (SFB), located in Aurora, Colorado. Hybrid role may be permitted/discussed.Salary Range$43,000 - $46,000Salary: $43000 - $46000 per year
