Principal Technical Program Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Technical Program Manager to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a regulated financial services environment.Location: San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship availableCompensation: $240,000 – $290,000 annuallyResponsibilities Develop strategic priorities for liquidity initiatives based on customer and technology insights Identify and eliminate project bottlenecks and risks for smoother operations Communicate effectively to align cross-functional teams with project goals Inspire and mentor other Technical Program Managers Create technical frameworks for engineering decision-making Enhance Operation Excellence processes for greater efficiency Collaborate with program, product, and engineering managers to align development priorities Mitigate risks and clear obstacles to enable development progress Establish dashboards to communicate project status and identify gapsQualifications 12+ years of experience in release or project management within enterprise tech environments Proficient in data analytics for project health and trends Familiar with Agile, Scrum, and Six Sigma project management methodologies Skilled in cross-functional coordination and influencing in a matrixed organization Proficient in Jira, Confluence, and Google Sheets for project planning Experience designing and architecting systems for reliability and scalability Knowledge of Payments, Custody, Stablecoin, or Blockchain ecosystemsBenefits Flexible work environment Collaborative company culture Opportunities for professional development Access to cutting-edge technology Health and wellness programsOur client is an equal opportunity employer.
