Project Superintendent

*Job Summary* We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all on-site activities, manage teams, ensure safety compliance, and uphold quality standards. Your expertise will drive project success by maintaining schedules, controlling budgets, and fostering effective communication among stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale commercial construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of safety and quality. *Duties* * Lead and supervise construction crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project plans. * Develop, update, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to keep projects on track. * Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents to verify accuracy and facilitate smooth execution. * Coordinate procurement, manage contracts, and oversee change orders using systems like ProCore, Prolog, or Bluebeam. * Enforce OSHA regulations and federal safety standards by conducting regular safety inspections and training sessions on-site. * Monitor project budgets, prepare cost estimates, and manage financial documentation including HeavyBid or other estimating tools. * Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers to resolve issues promptly and maintain project momentum. * Oversee quality control measures through regular site inspections and review of construction drawings for compliance with specifications. * Supervise the interpretation of technical drawings and schematics while managing construction schedule coordination for multiple phases of the project. * Ensure all work complies with construction regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards while supervising crew management activities. *Requirements* * Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a strong background in supervising large teams on active sites. * Extensive knowledge of construction safety regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols. * Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, or Primavera for scheduling and documentation purposes. * Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpret complex technical information accurately. * Skilled in managing project schedules through Primavera P6 or similar tools; experience with construction scheduling is essential. * Strong managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while coordinating multiple stakeholders. * Experience in budgeting, cost control using HeavyBid or comparable estimating software, and managing contracts efficiently. * Construction site experience with a focus on quality assurance, safety management, and regulatory compliance. * Knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA requirements for heavy civil or commercial projects. * Ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters when necessary for quality assurance purposes.
