You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and related systems in trucks, buses, heavy equipment, or other diesel-powered vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Primary Duties And ResponsibilitiesInspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other mechanical systemsPerform preventative maintenance (PM) services on diesel vehicles and equipmentTroubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and fuel system issuesTest drive vehicles to ensure proper repair and functionalityMaintain accurate service records and repair documentationUse diagnostic tools and software to identify faults and issuesOrder parts and assist in inventory management as neededFollow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environmentCommunicate with service advisors or customers regarding repairs and timelinesKeep work area clean and organizedMust be able to work from 3pm -1:30amJob QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical school or diesel mechanic certification preferred2+ years of experience as a diesel technician or similar roleStrong understanding of diesel engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, and diagnostic toolsAbility to read technical manuals and schematicsProficient with hand tools and power toolsStrong problem-solving and time management skillsValid driver’s license; CDL may be required or preferredBenefitsHealth Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)Retirement Plan (401k, IRA)Life Insurance (Basic, Voluntary & AD&D)Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)Short-Term & Long-Term DisabilityTraining & Development#TECH2025FCC Environmental Services, LLC operates in a multicultural, global environment and is a richly diverse organization operating seamlessly as one company.
