Our mission requires speed, ingenuity, and a relentless commitment to engineering excellence. Firestorm is seeking an Aerospace Engineering Intern to support our Engineering team drive the execution and coordination across the full development lifecycle of our unmanned aerial systems.You'll help turn innovative designs into reality by supporting prototyping, testing, data collection, and coordinating cross-functional engineering efforts. This is a 12 week internship at our Headquarters office in San Diego, CA.Required QualificationsCurrently pursuing a bachelors degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related fieldU.S. Person status (Citizen or Permanent Resident) required due to ITAR regulations.Strong attention to detail and ability to coordinate across multiple teams and projects.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.Experience in project coordination or support.Ability to operate in fast paced, iterative development environmentsPreferred QualificationsBachelors degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related fieldTechnical background in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, or systems engineering preferred.Hands-on experience with lab equipment, prototyping, or assembly work is a plus.Acquainted with DoD or AerospaceWork EnvironmentBased at our Headquarters in San Diego, CAAbility to work in-office & flexible hours as neededCompensationU.S. Range: $28 - $32 per hourThe posted range reflects an estimate based on a variety of compensation factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, certifications, specialized skills, geographic location, and business needs.
