CDL Class B Driver

Summary:The CDL Driver will be responsible for hauling Non-Hazardous waste and equipment at our Spartanburg, SC Site. This includes the need to support operations during high demand times to ensure the success of the business.Responsibilities:1.Loading, unloading, and safely transporting non-hazardous materials and equipment.2.Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment while maintaining appearance of company equipment to meet company standards.3.Interfacing and creating a Wow! Experience for our clients at the point of delivery.4.Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/ or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.5.Reporting vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after pickups.6.Efficiently able to operate a manual transmission (no automatic restriction)7.Willing to do overnight runs8.Ability to make minor repairs is a plus (light bulbs, fuses, minor air leaks.9.. Ability to identify and report equipment malfunction or damageRequirements:1.CDL Driver must have good driving history and pass background check.2. Class B CDL with Tanker endorsement (Hazmat endorsement must be obtained within 6 months of hire)3. Must be willing to obtain TWIC Card.4. CDL Driver must pass DOT drug screen, physical, and road test.5. Driving experience preferred; tanker experience a plus.6. No automatic restrictionsPhysical Demands1.. The employee must lift up to 50 pounds2.. Be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time3.. This position will require wearing personal protective equipment.
