They offer an environment where leaders are empowered to influence culture, strategy and long‑term operational excellence.Job DescriptionEnsure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations and applicable local, state and federal standards.Lead the implementation of behaviour‑based safety programmes and environmental compliance systems with a zero‑incident mindset.Serve as the local subject‑matter expert on EHS standards, policies and best practices.Drive accountability for safety and environmental performance at all levels of the organisation.Lead EHS audits, inspections and continuous improvement initiatives across site operations.Develop and maintain emergency action plans and strong relationships with local emergency responders and authorities.Partner cross‑functionally to identify risks, implement mitigation strategies and improve site safety performance.Manage all internal and external EHS reporting, permitting and regulatory submissions.Lead accident investigations, root cause analysis and the development of preventative controls.Conduct and oversee health and safety monitoring programmes (air, noise, ergonomics, etc.).Stay ahead of regulatory changes and proactively assess their impact on site operations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
