Position Title:FP&A Analyst
Location:Sterling, VA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Assignment Type:Permanent Hire
Compensation:$85,000 – $95,000
Work Schedule:M-F 9-5

We are seeking a highly analytical FP&A Analyst to support financial planning, forecasting, and strategic decision-making within a growing organization. This role will partner closely with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver insights that drive business performance.Financial Planning & Analysis
Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across the organization
Build and maintain financial models for forecasting, scenario analysis, and strategic planning
Perform variance analysis (actual vs. budget/forecast/prior year) and provide actionable insights
Reporting & Insights
Prepare management reporting packages, dashboards, and presentations for leadership
Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
Monitor revenue and operating costs to support financial performance and planning initiatives
Month-End & Cross-Functional Support
Assist with month-end close by reviewing results, validating accruals, and coordinating with accounting
Partner with department leaders to track performance against budget and support decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial analysis and business initiatives
Systems & Data Analysis
Extract and analyze data from ERP and financial systems to support reporting and ad hoc analysis
Develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve data visibility and efficiency
Support ongoing process improvements and automation initiativesQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of FP&A, corporate accounting, or audit experience
Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
Advanced Excel proficiency required
Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
