Post Quantum Cryptography EngineerUse systems architecture, network engineering, or software development skill sets to implement post-quantum cryptography (PQC) solution architectures across a variety of reference architectures. Work on transitioning products, systems, and environments to post-quantum standards. Use comprehension of operating system environments and network configuration to analyze the development of advanced methodologies to help promote cutting-edge analysis of PQC. Leverage cybersecurity expertise to perform all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information system assets and protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. Oversee, evaluate, and support the documentation, validation, assessment, and accreditation processes necessary to comply with information assurance (IA) and security requirements.You Have:Experience as a PQC scientist or engineerExperience leading and managing small projectsExperience evaluating trust architectures and evaluating cryptographic approachesExperience with software development, cybersecurity, or network engineeringExperience with programming in Python, Rust, or C++ and low-level programming conceptsKnowledge of secure network protocols software, public key infrastructure, and the services that use themAbility to develop technical documentation to support accreditation efforts using information security, including systems and network securityAbility to convey complex concepts and work collaboratively with a varied audienceAbility to obtain a Secret clearanceBachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Computer ScienceNice If You Have:Experience with cloud architectures and key management strategiesExperience with Linux and Windows fundamentalsExperience with hardware Trusted Compute architecturesAbility to demonstrate contributions to cryptographic standards or papersExperience implementing and maintaining security controls across server-based environmentsExperience with digital forensics, secure software development, or penetration testingKnowledge of the cybersecurity risk management process and governance, risk, and compliance strategies and toolsPossession of excellent written and verbal communication skillsCompensation at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD).
