Position Overview:
Now Hiring! Clinical Programmer
Reports To: Director, Imaging Applications and Technology
Job Summary: The role of the Clinical Programmer is to execute deliveries, program (reporting or delivery transformation), and perform quality reviews. The Clinical Programmer will also assist with system configuration, testing, document creation, and document review.
What You’ll Do:
Assist with data transfer specifications for clinical projects with data vendors, ensuring alignment with management, statistics, and clinical read review needs.
Create programs to format system output to vendor-required formats.
Develop report requirement documentation, report coding, and testing in collaboration with other departments.
Create edit checks per study-specific requirements.
Organize study materials and ensure documentation is saved appropriately.
Review documents for proper format, grammar, and required sections, recommending updates before formalization.
Assist with user acceptance testing of the study's electronic data capture system.
Support read platform development of Data Transfer Specs per project.
Perform QA/QC on data output to ensure accuracy and validity.
Participate in user acceptance testing/validation for data receipt and data reader/analysis platforms.
Communicate relevant project information to superiors effectively.
Resolve and escalate issues in a timely manner.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Perform other duties to assist departmental operations.

4-year college degree
Coursework or degree that is industry related
Coursework or certification demonstrating technical proficiency
Preferred - Prior pharmaceutical or Contract Research Organization experience management, medical imaging, or device industry experience
Preferred – Programming experience using SQL, SAS, Python, PowerShell
