Property Management works closely with our residents, our community partners, and their fellow MidPenners, including close collaboration with our Resident Services team.As the Assistant Community Manager, you will report to the Community Manager. You'll be responsible for supporting the daily operations of the property, including key areas of responsibility like fiscal management, compliance, facilities, risk management, and resident relations.Responsibilities:Schedules income verification appointments, prepares and processes lease agreements and maintains housing wait listAssists in the completion of re-certifications, welfare exemption documents, Management and Occupancy (MOR) and Tax Credit Allocation Committee (TCAC) reviewsIssues notices, schedules vacancies, prepares, and monitors turnover formsAssists in the collection of rents, completion of security deposits, logs petty cash use and preparation of bank deposits]Inspects property and identifies maintenance and security issuesSupports working relationships with local law enforcement and emergency agenciesCoordinates maintenance inspections with facilities staff and ensures work orders are processed in a timely mannerMaintains resident and property files without compromising confidential informationCommunicates procedures regarding emergency preparedness to residents and coordinates logistics for resident meetingsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:To perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the education, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.Proficient in MS Office and/or RealPage software.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent customer service with measurable outcomes.Able to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.Highly organized and detail-oriented.Committed to the mission and values of MidPen Services and MidPen HousingThis role primarily involves desk-based computer work with frequent sitting. Occasional physical activity includes standing, walking, reaching overhead, filing, and lifting or moving items up to 15 pounds.
