This role involves providing acute care in a community hospital setting, with responsibilities including continuous intravenous sedation, triage, and telemetry. Candidates are required to bring their valid California nursing license on the first day of work.Job Details:Location: Fortuna, CaliforniaSchedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per weekRequired Qualifications: Valid California license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); experience in acute care, emergency room, or trauma settings; 1 year of charge experience; experience with charting in Epic electronic health record system; at least 0 years of experiencePreferred Qualifications: Experience in Level I and Level II trauma centers, community hospital experience, and travel experience; flexibility to float between hospital and affiliate facilities; willingness to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)Float: Float rotation may be required, business needs permittingAdditional Information: Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby the contracted facility. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment and forfeiture of guaranteed hours. Submission requires SSN, DOB, RTO, and copy of certifications. The assignment begins on 06/29/2026, with an orientation of 12 hours. References covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years are required.
