Specialist - Software Engineering

Overview In this role you design, build and maintain Python-based applications and automation. You will deploy apps through CI/CD pipelines and partner with DevOps to automate builds, releases and deployments. You’ll implement containerized deployments with Docker and Kubernetes, troubleshoot production issues and uphold secure coding standards. You'll work with cross-functional teams and contribute to improving the DevOps and automation framework. This is a hands-on, impact-driven position that shapes scalable software delivery and operational excellence. ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain Python applications and automation scriptsDeploy Python applications via CI/CD pipelines across environmentsCollaborate with DevOps on build, release and deployment automationArchitect and manage containerized deployments using Docker and KubernetesPerform troubleshooting, root cause analysis and production supportEnsure security coding standards and DevOps best practicesCollaborate with QA, Infra and Securities teamsSupport continuous improvement of DevOps and automation framework Key requirementsStrong hands-on Python developmentExperience with Python frameworks Django or FlaskStrong exposure to DevOps practices and toolsHands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps or similar)Experience with Docker and container platformsWorking knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShiftStrong understanding of Linux/Unix systemsExperience with Git-based version controlStrong analytical, debugging and problem solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsExcellent communicationStakeholder managementCollaborationPython developmentDjango or FlaskDevOps practices and tools
