Right Price.Location: Phoenix, AZ 85043Duration: 3+ Months (CTH)Pay Rate: $20/hr W2In this role, you will:Operate and maintain various production equipment, including coating furnaces, vacuum furnaces, grit/sandblast equipment, blenders, maskers, and brazing stations. Prepare and mix materials according to and unload parts and materials from equipment.Monitor and inspect products for quality and adherence to a clean and organized work area.Follow safety protocols and procedures.Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.Qualifications:Year of Manufacturing/Warehouse experienceAbility to read, interpret, and communicate work instructions and specificationsAbility to sit/stand/bend/twist/lift +25lbs for periods of 8-hours, or longerAbility to work OT when necessary, including weekendsMust be fluent in English, i.e. speaking, reading, writingEducation:High School diploma or equivalentList the requirements below that are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully accomplish the essential duties of the job.Ability to read and monitor furnace charts and related equipmentAbility to accurately interpret blueprintsAbility to work in process documents as neededKnowledge of chemical powders processing requiredAbility to accurately transfer information and dataGood verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated with a high level of ownership and accountabilityLean skills continually drives process improvementsTeam building skillsResponsibilities:Must be able to operate two types of furnaces including the following: coating/vacuum furnaces, and/or coating/CVD furnaces.Load and unload furnaces, read and check furnace charts.Dry hone components.Complete logbooks accurately and thoroughly.Change thermocouples.Document travelers correctly after operations have been performed.Follow and utilize lean manufacturing principles.Maintain, implement and improve 5-S Principles.Perform general departmental housekeeping.Sustain production standards and quality.Regular attendance and punctuality required.Adhere to and promote Corporate Code of Ethical Standards.Ensure compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements.Perform other duties as assigned.Assist in surveying when needed.
