Ultrasound Technologist - Hospital - Travel Contract

Echocardiography FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $60.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program. 1 adult echo and 1 vascular credential from: ARDMS: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) - Adult (AE); Vascular Technologist (RVT). CCI: Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS), Registered Cardiac Congenital Sonographer (RCCS), Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS). Provides top of scope practice in direct patient care to provide various ultrasound procedures Contributes to secure safety and quality at the point of care Sonographer: Reviews patient history, physician's orders and does scheduling. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation. Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment. Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions as necessary. Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results. In small, personal ways through human connection.
