Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Employee Development Specialist (Experienced or Senior) to join their team in Portland, OR.This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background and a passion for supporting our union employees in all phases of their career.Position Responsibilities:Conducts learning requirements analysis and establishes learning objectivesDelivers content and assesses effectiveness based on learning objectivesFacilitates learning events and knowledge transfer by team coaching, observing and tracking student performance, adding key insights to enhance the delivery, conduct preparation, delivery and rostering of training to satisfy training requirementEmphasizes safety precautions to be taken in all training providedMaintains a positive and productive learning environment, and addresses any problem behaviors in the classroom promptly in accordance with policiesPerforms individual and group assessments, and recommends process and performance improvementsUnderstands regulations and standards, ensures delivery of courseware complies with commercial, government, regulatory and organizational standards and specificationsSupports design and development of course content and instructional materialsDeploys development tools and monitors implementation and performance outcomesDevelops and delivers learning and other reports as requiredBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):3+ years of experience analyzing data, creating reports, and presenting results3+ years of experience working in a fast-paced customer service related environmentExperience supporting represented and non-represented employeesPreferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):5+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience with adult learningExperience with student development programsConflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.Drug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Pay & Benefits:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
