PreK Interventionist (Part-Time .50)

Crystal Lake Elementary District 47 has an opening for an PreK Interventionist, part-time .50. The goal of this position is to provide academic and behavioral interventions for students based on student needs as identified through the MTSS framework.Duties And ResponsibilitiesFacilitate data collection, data-based problem solving and data-based decision making through the guidelines of the MTSS frameworkProvide flexible interventions to students identified through the MTSS framework utilizing a variety of tools and resourcesPlan and implement academic and/or behavioral instruction for small groups of studentsAssess the progress of students on a regular basis and provide progress reports as requiredCommunicate with families, teachers, and administrators regarding the progress of studentsMaintain and improve professional competency through trainings and other staff development opportunitiesAttends staff meetings at building and district level and serve on committees as neededParticipate in curriculum development and district initiativesParticipate in faculty committees and student activitiesReport to building administratorsSkills And Experience RequiredValid Illinois Professional Educator License (Early Childhood preferred)Bachelor's Degree in EducationTeaching Experience with English LearnersStudent teaching and/or experience in a PreK-5 classroom (preferred) Physical/Mental RequirementsDemonstrate high levels of flexibility, effective interpersonal communication skills, articulation, concentration, confidentiality, and organization.Physical requirements include sitting, standing, bending, walking and lifting equipment and materials.High level of flexibility, articulation, concentration, and confidentiallyPlease Include: 3 Letters of Reference and/or Credential PacketTranscriptsResumeThis job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned.
