Assistant Controller

We are exclusively representing our client, a fast-growing, omni-channel consumer products company, with global operations, in hiring an Assistant Controller.This role will serve as a key partner to the Corporate Controller and play a leadership role in the accounting function, including managing accounting processes across e-commerce, retail, and wholesale channels, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and scalable systems to support business growth.The ideal candidate has a strong technical accounting background, experience in inventory and revenue accounting, and thrives in a dynamic, multi-channel environment.Responsibilities include:Playing an integral part in managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processesReviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysesSupporting consolidation across multiple sales channels and entitiesOverseeing revenue recognition across e-commerce, retail, and wholesale channelsPartnering cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve processesSupporting audits and external reporting by ensuring readiness and accuracy of documentationIdentifying and driving process improvements with a focus on scalability, efficiency, and controlAssisting the Corporate Controller with broader accounting initiatives and special projectsProviding guidance and oversight to team members and contributing to strengthening the accounting functionQualifications:8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience Experience in a multi-entity, international environment with multi-currency transactionsProven ability to own processes end-to-end and operate with limited supervisionExperience in retail, wholesale, or inventory-driven environments preferredProficiency with large ERP systems
