The event features main stage panels, hands on education, live competitions with cash prizes, and a charity mission called the Unlock Purpose Fund, which funds cosmetology training inside correctional facilities. MHS is built for beauty professionals who know they were made for more.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a detail oriented and self motivated Sponsorship Research and Outreach Intern to support our sponsor acquisition efforts leading up to the July 2026 event. Our founder pitches and closes deals. Your job is to make sure the right brands are in the pipeline, every lead is followed up with, and the pitch deck is customized so each brand sees exactly where they fit.This is a real sponsorship role. You will be working directly with the founder and gaining hands on experience in event sponsorship, brand partnerships, and professional communications.What You Will DoResearch potential brand sponsors across beauty, wellness, tech, and lifestyle categories using LinkedIn, brand websites, and industry publicationsComplete sponsor profile forms and briefing documents for each prospect, capturing brand values, marketing priorities, and decision maker contactsCustomize our existing pitch deck template for each target brand, plugging in relevant activations, audience data, and partnership angles that speak directly to that brandDraft and send follow up emails after initial outreach, maintaining a professional and timely communication cadenceTrack all outreach and follow up activity in our sponsorship pipeline trackerFlag warm leads and sponsor responses for the founder to step in and closeSupport contract preparation and document organization as neededWhat We Are Looking For Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Marketing, Communications, Business, Public Relations, or related field preferred)Strong written communication skills  you write clean, professional emails with confidenceHighly organized with excellent attention to detailComfortable working independently and managing your own task listFamiliar with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) or Microsoft OfficeInterest in the beauty industry, events, or brand partnerships is a strong plusExperience with Canva, pitch decks, or CRM tools is a bonus but not requiredWhat You Will Gain Real world sponsorship experience with a live event brandSamples of professional outreach emails and customized pitch decks for your portfolioA letter of recommendation from the founder upon successful completionAcademic credit letter provided upon requestComplimentary access to Mastermind Hair Show 2026Mentorship from a founder with over a decade in the beauty industry
