The ideal candidate is passionate about technology, embraces innovation, and leverages AI-powered development tools responsibly to improve efficiency while maintaining high standards for quality, security, and maintainability.This role requires strong technical expertise, effective collaboration skills, and a commitment to delivering scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications.Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code.Utilize AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, or similar technologies to enhance productivity while ensuring code quality and security.Review and validate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, security, and maintainability before implementation.Participate in peer code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.Develop automated testing solutions and contribute to CI/CD pipeline initiatives.Research emerging technologies, including AI-driven solutions, and recommend improvements to development processes and engineering workflows.Provide constructive feedback on application design, architecture, and code quality while fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.Successfully manage assigned work and deliver results within established timelines, including projects with aggressive deadlines.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.3+ years of professional software development experience supporting cloud-based and on-premises applications.Programming & Application Development.NET CoreASP.NETWeb APIC#JavaJavaScriptPythonReactData & Persistence TechnologiesMicrosoft SQL ServerEntity FrameworkDB2Additional RequirementsExperience designing and consuming APIs and working with modern software architectures.Experience with source control management systems such as Git.Hands-on experience utilizing AI-powered developer tools in a professional software engineering environment.Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and secure coding methodologies.Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.Demonstrated ability to learn, evaluate, and adopt new technologies quickly.Experience analyzing, debugging, profiling, and optimizing existing codebases.Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills with the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.
