You'll collaborate on content creation, manage daily community engagement across platforms, and serve as our primary PR associate. This role combines social media expertise with operational support—maintaining processes, driving communication, and ensuring consistent, quality brand representation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) Community Management & EngagementManage day-to-day communication with our social media audience across all active platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube)Monitor passive platforms (Bluesky, Threads, Truth Social) for brand mentions and emerging opportunitiesMonitor, respond to, and moderate user comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional mannerDevelop and implement community engagement strategies to grow and nurture our online audienceStay current on social media trends, best practices, and platform updatesContent Collaboration & Campaign SupportCollaborate with the Social Media Specialist to develop, create, and schedule trending content that boosts engagementAssist in planning and executing social media contests, interactive content, and campaigns that encourage responses and conversationsAttend company events to capture photo and video content as neededInfluencer & Partner OutreachSupport our new influencer marketing initiative by assisting with outreach, communication, and coordinationAssist with identifying and engaging influencers, potential brand advocates, and partner brands to expand community outreachPublic Relations & Media ContactServe as initial contact for media inquiries and journalist communicationsWrite and distribute press releases and media materialsDevelop and execute media pitches for company news and announcementsMaintain media contact database and coordinate interview logisticsMonitor media coverage and industry newsBrand Protection & Crisis SupportSupport crisis management efforts by monitoring and addressing potential issues across social channelsProactively identify and address conflicts that could impact the brand's reputationInternal Programs & TrainingAssist with social media training sessions for Acme Sales AssociatesSupport the Social Media Specialist in managing Sprout's Advocacy program for Acme AssociatesSkills and Experience Required for Success Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required) or equivalent experience in marketing, journalism, English, communications, or public relations preferredPrefer experience in social media management or community managementExperience with the major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube)Microsoft Office experience (specifically with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
