Job OverviewTitle:Pediatric Echo Tech / Cardiac SonographerDepartment: Echo TechType: 13-Week Travel ContractLocation: Ardent Health ServicesSchedule:Day Shift - 4x10s (7:30 AM - 5:30 PM)No block schedulingStart Date:06/08/2026Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Pediatric Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment. This position requires strong pediatric and neonatal echocardiography experience in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will be comfortable performing both pediatric and adult echocardiograms, including portable studies and advanced cardiac imaging procedures.Responsibilities:• Perform high-quality pediatric and adult echocardiograms in acute care and outpatient settings• Conduct neonatal echocardiography studies independently• Perform M-Mode imaging, portable echo studies, stress echo procedures, and bubble studies• Assist with imaging using contrast agents and treadmill/pharmacologic stress echo procedures• Support transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) procedures as needed• Operate GE ultrasound equipment efficiently and accurately• Review and document diagnostic findings according to facility protocols• Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care• Ensure patient safety, image quality, and adherence to departmental standardsKey Requirements:• Minimum 2 years recent Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer experience preferred• Must have strong pediatric echo experience• Neonatal echo experience is REQUIRED• Experience with both pediatric and adult echo studies required• CCI or ARDMS certification required• First-time travelers accepted• Acute care/hospital experience strongly preferred• Must be comfortable performing portable studies independentlyEducation:• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology programExperience:• Minimum 2 years recent Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer experience preferred• Pediatric acute care experience required• Neonatal echo experience required• Adult echo experience required• Experience in ICU and emergency department settings preferredLicense:• ARDMS or CCI certification requiredSkills:• Pediatric Echocardiography• Neonatal Echocardiography• Adult Echocardiography• Portable Echo Studies• M-Mode Imaging• Bubble Studies• Imaging with Contrast Agents• Pharmacologic Stress Echo• Treadmill Stress Echo• Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)• GE Ultrasound Equipment• ICU / Emergency Department Cardiac Imaging• Acute Care Cardiac Sonography
