The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for ensuring compliance with The Joint Commission credentialing standards, company policies, as well as state licensing agencies and facility client credentialing/privileging requirements. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining all aspects of the provider credentialing process including initial credentialing, re-credentialing and all continuous credentialing elements.What You'll DoAct as a liaison between the company employees and the provider as it relates to credentialing process and documentationParticipate in credentialing, re-credentialing, and off cycle activitiesMaintain provider credentialing files, e-filesand update credentialing database with current andaccurateinformationProcess Primary Source Verification as part of the credentialing processEnsure work and product standards are of the highest qualityMaintain professional communication with all providers, external customers,coworkersand managementCorrespond with providers as needed to obtain information in a professional mannerMaintain compliance with Joint Commission credentialing standards and company policiesMaintain strict confidentiality of all provider filesOther duties as assigned What You'll BringAssociates' degree preferred or high school diploma with 3 years of experience in healthcare specific industryAt least 3 years' experience in provider credentialing or similar relevant experienceBasic knowledge of Joint Commission accreditation standardsProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook,Exceland PowerPoint) and web-based applicationsProfessional written and verbal communication skills with public speaking abilityProven time management and prioritization skills focusing on urgent and overlapping deadlinesStrong organizational and problem skills, attention to detail and proven accuracy with record keepingRequires ability tomaintainstrong working relationships with clinical staff, outside agencies,coworkersand managementMust be a self-starter, energetic, organized, a fast learner and thrive in a fast paced and changing environmentAbility to work effectively under deadlines and self-manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProven ability to thrive in a high growth, fast-paced and remote organizationMust be able to remain in a stationary postion 50% of the time Why Join Access TeleCare100% remote role with national impact and executive visibilityComprehensive benefits: health, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k)Flexible vacation and wellness days-we value outcomes and balanceA culture of ownership, transparency, and results-where the best ideas risAbout our recruitment process:We don't expect a perfect fit for every requirement we've outlined.
