Therapy/Rehabilitation/Speech Language Pathologist School
Title: School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)Location: Colorado Springs, CODuration: 44 weeksShift: Day - 5x7.5-Hour (07:00 - 14:30)Job Responsibilities• Provide speech-language pathology services to K-12 students in a school-based setting• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with the educational team• Conduct student assessments, screenings, and progress monitoring• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions aligned with educational goals• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, and families• Participate in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines• Support students across multiple school sites as needed• Adhere to school schedules, policies, and state education requirements• Work a consistent daytime schedule during the academic yearRequired Skills & Experience• Experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred• Ability to manage a diverse caseload across K-12 grade levels• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a school team• Comfortable traveling between school sites as needed• Flexibility and adaptability in an educational environmentRequired Certifications & Licensure• Active Colorado Speech Language Pathologist license (or ability to obtain prior to start) - required
