Job description: Manufacturing Project ManagerLocation: Westfield, IndianaSalary: $75,000 $85,000Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented, independent Manufacturing Project Manager to drive complex electronics manufacturing and process improvement projects from concept to delivery. You will be responsible for owning tasks without oversight, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that technical systems are delivered with precision and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Lifecycle Management: Manage projects from requirements gathering to final delivery, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.Documentation & Planning: Author and maintain precise technical documentation, including SOPs and BOMs; manage project schedules using tools like Excel and Gantt charts.Resource Coordination: Coordinate procurement, fabrication, and production resources to ensure seamless execution.Continuous Improvement: Use data and metrics to drive process improvements; support quoting efforts through labor and material estimation.Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between customers, vendors, and internal technical teams.Qualifications: QualificationsEducation: Bachelors degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial), Engineering Technology, Supply Chain & Operations Management, Project Management, or a related field.Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with project planning tools (Excel, Gantt charts), technical writing, and familiarity with MRP systems or BOMs.Process Knowledge: Familiarity with lean manufacturing, 5S, or Kaizen methods is a plus.Soft Skills: Ability to work independently, multitask across shifting priorities, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Important RequirementsCitizenship: Due to our military contracts, applicants must be U.S. Citizens or current Green Card holders.
