We offer competitive pay, opportunities for growth, and a chance to be part of a caring community dedicated to improving the lives of those we serve.Hours: Full-Time - 1st Shift (6:00am - 2:30pm)Pay scale will vary depending on level of education and experience. $16.50 - $20.00/hourResponsibilities, Including But Not Limited ToClean and sanitize patient rooms, including making beds, replacing linens, and restocking suppliesPerform cleaning duties such as disinfecting patient areas, washing windows, scrubbing floors, moving furniture, changing mattresses and more as neededMaintain cleanliness of common areas, such as waiting rooms, lobbies, and hallwaysResponsible for maintaining hospital floors to include carpet, entryways, etcResponsible for proper operation and maintenance of floor cleaning to include vacuum, floor and carpet cleaning equipment.Follow established cleaning protocols and procedures to maintain a safe environmentReplenish supplies in patient rooms and common areas as neededRespond to urgent cleaning requests from staff and patientsReport maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnelAdhere to infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria.Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous waste, including sharps and biohazardous materialsAdhere to infection control and safety policies and guidelinesDemonstrates proper precautions and procedures of infections, electrical, steam and chemical hazards, heavy dust, environmental and disinfectant solutions.Handle the collection and disposal of soiled linens in a hygienic manner.Requirements, Including But Not Limited ToHigh school diploma, GED or equivalentPrevious housekeeping or cleaning experience preferredPhysical stamina and dexterity to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy loads, as required.Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasksAbility to lift and move heavy objects up to 25 poundsWillingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
