OFFICE OF THE CHIEF JUDGECIRCUIT COURT OF COOK COUNTY, ILLINOISJOB DESCRIPTIONJOB TITLE:   SPECIAL ASSISTANTGRADE:         16SALARY:       $68,494 or commensurate with experienceFLSA:             ExemptJOB SUMMARY AND DUTIES:The Special Assistant acts as personal and confidential administrative support to the Director of Juvenile Services.  Duties include, but are not limited to: Type and edit correspondence, reports, legal and other documents;Draft correspondence, including email, independently or upon direction;Handle mail, answer telephone calls, screen office visitors, make appointments and maintain calendar for Director of Juvenile Services;Perform CCT supervisor duties as required;Maintain office records and files;Maintain office supply inventory;Perform other office management and administrative functions as required, including acting as liaison with judges of the District or the Division and other departments within the Office of the Chief Judge;Assist with human resources, finance, and purchasing matters to ensure the needs of the District or Division are met;Perform such other duties as may be directed by the Director of Juvenile ServicesThe duties listed are not set forth for the purpose of limiting the assignment of work.
