Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. In this full-time, contract position, you'll play a crucial role in helping school-aged children develop their communication skills, making a lasting impact on their learning and personal growth.What we're seeking:Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders requiredActive state licensure in Louisiana, or eligibility to obtain before start dateASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferredExperience providing speech therapy in a school-based settingCommitment to both professional standards and compassionate, student-centered careAbility to meet district credentialing, including drug screening and fingerprintingYour daily experience will include:Delivering direct speech-language therapy services to students across one or more local schools (specific assignments and caseload details will be determined)Developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborating with teachers, staff, and familiesAssessing and documenting student progress toward speech and language goalsMaintaining compliance with all federal, state, and district guidelines, as well as recordkeeping standardsAttending meetings, participating in school teams, and contributing to a supportive, collaborative educational environmentThis position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule (35 hours per week, 7 hours per day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch) in alignment with the school calendar. All candidates undergo internal prescreening prior to district presentation.
