Pre-Suit Attorney

Ascendo Resources is partnering with a high-volume, plaintiff-side personal injury law firm that is seeking a motivated Pre-Litigation Attorney to join its growing Birmingham, AL office. This is an excellent opportunity for a personal injury attorney who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and is eager to grow into a trial practice.Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of pre-litigation case handling from intake through resolutionLead and mentor a team of 6–10 Case Managers, driving performance and KPIsGuide clients through every stage of the pre-suit process with clear, compassionate communicationDraft and file pre-litigation documents and demand packagesOversee settlement negotiations and manage the release approval processEvaluate cases for litigation readiness, including liability and TD approvalsConduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statementsEnsure team compliance with firm processes and quality standardsRequirements:J.D. from an ABA-accredited law schoolActive membership in good standing with the Alabama State Bar2+ years of personal injury experience (premises liability a strong plus)Proven ability to manage a high-volume pre-litigation caseloadStrong leadership presence with experience managing or mentoring staffExcellent written and oral communication skillsSelf-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to advance toward trial workA client-first mindset with a commitment to delivering resultsCompensation & BenefitsThis firm invests in its people.
