Identifies, troubleshoots, and repairs problems in mechanical and electrical systems within production equipment and processes. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance and root cause analysis on end-to-end processes.Job ResponsibilitiesPerforms preventive maintenance (PMs) on all mechanical/electrical systems and modules; this includes but is not limited to disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration.Analyze equipment breakdowns, diagnose malfunctions, and apply results to predictive maintenance, design changes, and/or process changes.Analyzes module error messages, and information obtained from Operational Technicians to troubleshoot, repair, and improve equipment.Utilizes SAP/Osapiens to report on maintenance activities to include PMs, parts requests, and other various tasks.Practice, and be a champion for, safety in all aspects of the position.Continuously improves technical and soft skills to better support the facility and the team.Job RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED required.Minimum of two years of work experience required.Prior experience in the role or equal vocational and technical training.Maintenance background should consist of mechanical, electrical, PLCs, VFDs, machine tools and pneumatics.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; knowledge and ability to train on Methodologies of Breakdowns, Preventive Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, Break Down Analysis, Maintenance Prevention and Periodic Maintenance.Knowledge of TPM (Total Preventative Maintenance)/AM (Autonomous Maintenance) Pillar Tools preferred.Ability to read and interpret schematics, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, and parts drawings as well as understand safeties and network communication in modules.Computer application skills. SAP preferred.Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and parts drawings as well as understand safety and network communication in modules.Demonstrate knowledge of electro-mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, refrigerant and other systems and components to include instruments, valves, pumps, motors, PLCs, VFDs and control systems.Prior experience with LEAN principles preferred.Physical RequirementsStanding: Frequently (standing on feet for extended periods of time), up to 12 hours.Speaking: Often (investigates, coordinates, recommends, reports)Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)Mobility: Frequent travel throughout facility and equipmentBending/Squatting: Frequent bending and squatting to complete maintenance/installation tasks.Dexterity: Frequent use of hands to perform maintenance/repair tasks.Lifting: Lift up to 50 lbs.Climbing: Occasional use of ladders or stairs.Climate: Frequent work in a non-climate-controlled environment (cold, hot)Pay: $30.00 an hourAbout Heartland Coca-ColaHeartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company produces, sells, and distributes the highest quality and best tasting Coca-Cola and Monster Beverages across the states of Kansas, Missouri, and Illinois.
