The ideal candidate can navigate complex hospital systems and payers—and translate state-specific requirements into standardized workflows (SOPs) to support rapid expansion.Salary Range: $60,000 – $70,000Experience: 4–6 years (multi-state strongly preferred)Executes credentialing and enrollment processes with minimal supervisionSupports SOP development and process improvementLeads complex credentialing efforts across multiple states and hospitalsOwns SOP development, workflow design, and scaling processesActs as internal subject matter expert and escalation pointWhat You’ll DoHospital Credentialing & PrivilegingManage end-to-end hospital credentialing and privileging for APPs and physiciansServe as the primary liaison with medical staff officesTrack applications through committee cycles (Credentialing, MEC, Board)Ensure timely approvals aligned with onboarding and go-live timelinesPayer EnrollmentManage enrollment and re-credentialing with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payersMaintain provider participation across all required payers and facilitiesOversee CAQH, NPPES, PECOS, and state Medicaid portalsMulti-State Expansion & SOP Development (Key Focus)Research state-specific licensure, credentialing, and payer requirementsBuild and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)Create scalable, repeatable workflows for new market entryIdentify inefficiencies and improve turnaround timesTracking & ComplianceProactively track all licenses, certifications, malpractice, and expirationsEnsure no gaps in privileges, enrollment, or complianceMaintain accurate provider records and credentialing filesDocument all activities within credentialing systemsWhat We’re Looking For4+ years of credentialing experience (hospital + payer enrollment required)Experience with hospital-based groups (not outpatient-only credentialing)Strong knowledge of:Medical staff processes & privilegingMedicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollmentCAQH, NPPES, PECOS, and Medicaid portalsProven ability to research requirements and build SOPs/workflowsExperience supporting multi-state credentialing (preferred)Ability to manage high volume and tight timelines (90–120 day cycles)Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skillsHigh attention to detail and ability to work independentlyWork EnvironmentThis position is onsite Monday - FridayFast-paced, deadline-driven environmentFrequent coordination with hospitals, payers, and internal stakeholders
