Orthodontic Dental Assistant

We are looking for a part-time orthodontic assistant to help serve our Grandville location. Responsibilities: - Assist the orthodontist in providing quality dental care to patients - Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments - Take pano, ceph and CBCT - Assist with orthodontic procedures, including placing and removing braces - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care - Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using Greyfinch or similar software - Assist with medical documentation and coding for insurance purposes - Use scanner and 3D printer to fabricate appliances. - Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history - Scheduling patients. Skills: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Ability to work well in a team environment - Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology - Experience with different softwares for orthodontic treatment planning and/or imaging is a plus This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing orthodontic practice.
