Job Summary:T3i Inc. is seeking a Full Time Instructional System Specialist (ISS) to support Air Force Special Operations training requirements. The ISS will assist with coordination, planning, synchronizing, designing, and executing curriculum requirements. The ISS specializes in the theory, development, and knowledge pertaining to curriculum development in order to effectively draft, execute, and maintain each course of instruction.Responsibilities:Identify and document program/service needs and evaluation dataEstablish program objectives and assess progress towards their achievementDevelop needs-based programming to effectively provide instructional materials to the customerLead/assist with coordination and/or development of official processes and functions Maintain comprehensive knowledge of management concepts, training administration, policies, procedures, principles, practices, and techniques of instructionMaintain comprehensive knowledge of a wide variety of complex instructional technologies and methodologies (such as interactive Courseware and distance learning) sufficient to design and develop instructional programs, which utilize complex technological applicationsMaintain comprehensive knowledge of instructional design and materials development to include use of technology for design, delivery of training and the ability to analyze, evaluate, and accomplish special training studies and projectsMaintain comprehensive knowledge of a wide variety of instructional development methods sufficient to develop and revise instructional materials, which result in complete and full-length training products for specialty areas Maintain comprehensive knowledge of a wide variety of instructional measurement methods and principles sufficient to develop plans and policies for measuring achievement of objectives.Work harmoniously with all levels of personnel within in the detachmentAnalyze problems and develop timely and economic solutionsWork remotely from home with little oversight and guidanceOccasionally travel up to 5 days to conduct meetings and planning with customers Required Skills, Experience and Education:One year of military curriculum development or six years of relevant work experience with military curriculum development including relevant certifications from any military institute.Bachelor’s degree or higher (included or supplemented by 24 semester hours relevant to this specialty). Completed coursework must include four of the following five relevant areas: 1) Learning theory, psychology of learning, educational psychology; 2) instructional design practices; 3) educational evaluation; 4) instructional product development; or 5) computers in education and trainingCertifications in: Analyze Design Develop Implement and Evaluation (ADDIE), Technical Writers Course, and Instructional System Designer Course or Systems Approach to Training (SAT)Possess thorough knowledge of Instructional Systems Design process, Instructional Technology, and the ability to apply it to instructional development Proficient understanding and working knowledge of computers, e-mail, voice mail, and cell phone text messagingProficient understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointCurrent US DoD Secret security clearanceRequired Background Check: National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI)Type of Employment: Part-TimeT3i Drug Free Workplace Statement: As a Federal Government Contractor, T3i is required to strictly adhere to federally mandated drug-free workplace standards. To ensure compliance with this requirement, T3i conducts pre-employment drug screening for all new hire personnel (full time, part time, and independent contractor) and annual random drug screening for all current T3i personnel. All drug screening includes testing for the following drugs, at a minimum: Marijuana (CBD, hemp oil, and other cannabidiol use may result in a positive result), cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, 6-monoacetylmorphine, and PCP. Personnel who cannot pass drug screening are not eligible for employment with T3i.
