Wire Harness AssemblerFremont, CAOrder: 249353The Wire Harness Assembler is responsible for assembling electrical wire harnesses and cable assemblies according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow technical documentation to ensure accurate and reliable product assembly.Key ResponsibilitiesAssemble wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electrical components according to specifications and diagramsCut, strip, crimp, solder, and terminate wires using hand tools and specialized equipmentRoute and bundle wires using ties, sleeves, clamps, and other fastening methodsRead and interpret work orders, assembly instructions, and wiring diagramsPerform visual inspections to ensure quality and compliance with company standardsUse basic measuring tools and testing equipment to verify electrical continuity and functionalityMaintain a clean and organized workstation while following safety guidelinesReport defects, material shortages, or production issues to supervisorsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious experience in wire harness assembly, cable assembly, or electronics manufacturing preferredAbility to read basic diagrams, instructions, and production documentationFamiliarity with hand tools such as wire strippers, crimpers, cutters, and soldering equipmentStrong attention to detail and manual dexterityAbility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentCapable of lifting up to 2535 lbs and standing for extended periodsPreferred SkillsExperience with IPC standards (such as IPC/WHMA-A-620)Basic electrical or electronics knowledgeExperience working in a manufacturing or production environment
