SAP Cutover Lead
Job Title: SAP Cutover LeadLocation: Flowood, MS (Hybrid) Travel Requirement: Up to 50% Work Authorization: U.S. Citizens or Green Card holders only Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced SAP Cutover Lead to support a large-scale, multi-phase greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation for an Oil & Gas client. This role is critical to ensuring a seamless transition from legacy systems to the new SAP environment, with a strong focus on planning and executing cutover activities for Phase 1 go-live. Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end cutover planning and execution for a multi-phase SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementation. Develop and manage the cutover strategy, detailed plans, checklists, and timelines aligned with project milestones. Coordinate across cross-functional teams (functional, technical, business, and third-party vendors) to ensure readiness for go-live. Identify, track, and mitigate risks related to cutover activities. Facilitate cutover workshops, status meetings, and stakeholder communications. Ensure all pre-cutover and post-cutover activities are clearly defined, assigned, and executed on schedule. Manage mock cutovers and rehearsals to validate readiness. Provide leadership and guidance during go-live, including issue resolution and escalation management. Ensure compliance with governance, quality standards, and best practices within the Design Success model. Required QualificationsProven experience as an SAP Cutover Lead in at least one full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementation (greenfield preferred). Strong understanding of SAP project methodologies and deployment strategies. Experience in Oil & Gas (O&G) industry projects is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-phase deployments and large-scale go-lives. Excellent project management, coordination, and stakeholder communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines. Preferred SkillsExperience with SAP Activate methodology. Familiarity with data migration, system integration, and testing cycles. Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities. Leadership experience managing cross-functional and distributed teams.
