Sr Process Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the petrochemical industry, is seeking a Sr Process Engineer to join their team. As a Sr Process Engineer, you will be part of the Process Engineering Department supporting operational excellence and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset. Job Title Sr Process Engineer Location Pasadena, Texas Responsibilities Assist the production engineer in deriving operating targets to optimize unit performance and economic efficiency. Conduct process scope development for capital projects, including justifications and conceptual design reviews. Participate in and lead incident investigations to enhance plant safety and environmental compliance. Implement process and capital improvements to increase production, reduce energy consumption, and lower operating costs. Perform process simulations and modeling to support operational decision‑making and troubleshooting. Qualifications BS in Chemical Engineering with at least 5 years of process engineering experience in petrochemical or refining environments. Ability to obtain a TWIC card. Proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft Office programs. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong presentation abilities.
