Travel Physical Therapist - Home Health

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position covering the Sacramento, Modesto, and Stockton areas, requiring a minimum of 1 year of home health experience and a valid state license.Job Details• Home health setting serving geriatric patients, with cases including wound care and general home health,• Coverage area spans the Sacramento, Modesto, and Stockton regions, with potential travel to surrounding counties as discussed during interview,• Minimum of 23-24 patient visits per week,• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (5x8 hours),• No weekend shifts required,• On-call is not required; discretionary only,• Charting is performed using Kinnser/WellSky; all charting must be completed on-site using a facility-provided tablet,• Contract length is 4-6 months; less experienced clinicians are required to complete a 6-month contract (non-negotiable),• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate from first to last patient visit (excludes travel to/from home),Job Requirements• Minimum 1 year of home health experience and 2 years of overall clinical experience as a PT required,• Valid state PT license required; license required if applicable,• Current BLS certification required,• No pending licenses accepted; valid license must be in hand at time of consideration,• Self-motivated with strong time management and punctuality,• Ability to complete charting efficiently and on-site,Additional Information• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,• Local candidates are accepted; candidates living within 50 miles of the service area are considered local,• All requested time off must be submitted at the time of initial application; no additional RTO will be accepted after an offer is made,• Hiring process includes a phone interview conducted by the hiring team,• COVID-19 vaccination is required; religious declinations are accepted.
