Primary Responsibilities include Perform skilled repairs on HVAC, power equipment, refrigeration, and food service systems. Manage the energy management system and execute quarterly preventive maintenance tasks. Maintain precise unit logs and mechanical room records for all assigned buildings. Assist subcontractors and other trades as needed; adapt to and learn new facility systems. Minimum Qualifications To be qualified for and considered for this position, applicants must meet all of the minimum qualifications listed below. Current licensure in Minnesota as a First Class C Boiler Operator or higher. (NOTE: Applicants with current licensure in Minnesota as a Second Class C Boiler Operator may be considered for a provisional appointment until obtaining licensure as a First Class C Boiler Operator.) Physical Requirements The completion of pre-placement physical components may be required for this position. These components may consist of a tuberculosis screening, commercial driver's license (CDL) drug test, and/or respirator clearance. The selected finalist may also be required to review and sign a Physical Demands Analysis (PDA) for this position.
