Logistics and Material Handler

About the Role As a Logistics and Material Handler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials through our facility. By managing inventory accuracy and coordinating efficient shipping processes, you will directly contribute to our ability to meet production goals and deliver high-quality components to our customers. Responsibilities Manage the lifecycle of materials by receiving, storing, and issuing goods using SAP inventory systems. Ensure production continuity by accurately tracking material usage and documenting scrap generation. Optimize order fulfillment by picking, packing, and preparing shipments for domestic and international distribution. Coordinate logistics by scheduling freight forwarders and utilizing shipping software like UPS and FedEx. Maintain high standards of inventory integrity by performing cycle counts and assisting with annual physical audits. Safely operate forklifts to organize and transport heavy materials within the warehouse environment. Proactively communicate inventory discrepancies to internal departments to ensure operational transparency. Qualifications Required Skills Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or material handling role. Proficiency with ERP software, specifically SAP or similar inventory management systems. Valid forklift certification and a strong commitment to workplace safety protocols. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Preferred Skills Experience with domestic and international shipping documentation and carrier coordination. Strong analytical skills for identifying and resolving inventory count discrepancies. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipping priorities simultaneously.
