Our elite global Alternative Investment Management client is seeking to recruit an Portfolio Management Associate to support front-office industrials investment team with a specific focus on aviation-asset and aircraft leasing investment strategies. Responsibilities include performing capital structure analysis, complex financial modeling, industry research, data/risk driver analysis, dashboard/report development, portfolio management and capital raising support for a $6B+ AUM investment platform.Responsibilities:Support front-office aviation-asset and aircraft leasing investment strategies by performing capital structure analysis, complex financial modeling, industry research, data/risk driver analysis, dashboard/report development, portfolio management and capital raising support for a $6B+ AUM investment platformLeverage data, financial models and analytics to provide thought leadership insight to the investment teamSupport all facets of the portfolio, new deal due diligence and investment value realizationCollaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to support asset management activitiesMaintain internal systems and develop analytical tools and automationAssist with strategic initiatives, investment return optimization and capital formationAttend and participate in industry events and board meetingsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree with strong academic record2+ years of portfolio management, asset management or strategic finance experienceAviation finance or aircraft leasing experience requiredDemonstrated capital structure analysis and advanced financial modeling skills requiredStrong data and risk analytics knowledgeAdvanced Excel skills with the demonstrated ability to analyze complex datasets, create dashboards and build analytical toolsAdvanced PowerPoint skillsPower BI, Tableau or other business intelligence tools a strong plusAbility to synthesize and disseminate complex data into actionable recommendations and communicate insights with key stakeholdersAdvanced communication, interpersonal and business writing skills
