Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA Classification: Non-ExemptSummary of Position: Hourly, Part-Time positions serving youth and families throughout Roscommon County are available.Applicant must be dependable, committed, and able to serve as a positive role model for youth in the community, school, and home settingsPrimary Responsibilities of the Advocate are to initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.All service plans will be based on a strength-based approach using the wrap around model.This position offers flexible hours, competitive weekly pay, mileage reimbursement, and activity reimbursement.Hourly Rate: $16.00 per hour (Part Time position with flexible hours) Qualifications/RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent is required. Experience in community work and knowledge of community resourcesExperience working with at-risk youth and familiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in basic computer skills is required. Position requires reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance. Bilingual (Spanish speaking) is a plus.
