Job Title: Fullstack Python Developer Duration:  18Month W2 ContractLocation: Jersey City, NJ- Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote  Required Pay Scale: $50-$68/hour  Position Summary • Hands on programming in Python as a senior developer on Global Supervisory and Surveillance application. • Managing jiras assigned to them to complete technical tasks for upcoming monthly release cycle • Development in internal trading platform within the company working on the resolution of audit related items through the Supervisory Initiative programOpEx (Operational Excellence) projectApplications related to alerts, risk, pricing, and trade surveillanceThey have a vendor surveillance platform they are retiring and they are mering all of its functionality into supervisory platform, working across multiple lines of business along with frontend work, lots of alerts – high profile critical projectAudit remediation, support requests that come through, mainly SIA IAI self identified or audit identified regulatory items small bits to pass the time Top Three Skillsets 1) Python 2) REST 3) ReactJS Top Three Soft Skills 1) Strong Communication 2) Self Starter 3) Strong Analytical skills Required Qualifications • 5yr+ Hands on Programming experience in any Object oriented language • Python experience necessary • 3yr+ Experience as senior developer on Front office applications in Banking services • 3yr+ Years of experience in Quantitative researcher and developer, ability to deal with domain specific data analysis • 3yr+ Years of experience in REST, ReactJS or FullStack development • Experience and exposure on Object Database along with Relational Databases Desired Qualifications Knowledge of Fixed Income products • 2yr+ Years of experience in Risk and pricing application development • Experience or Knowledge of Trade Surveillance and Market Misconduct in Global Markets About Matlen Silver Experience Matters.
