In this role, you will join a research and product development team and will be responsible for building and maintaining relevant applications, services, APIs, and user-interfaces related to cloud-hosted data management platforms. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter that has a passion for learning, and has a history of working very closely with data. This is a full time, remote position.What You Will DoLeverage experience with the principles of large-scale (terabytes) database development, data modeling, data mapping, data testing, data quality, and technical data GUI UI/UXUtilization of open source libraries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) complex datasetsDesign and develop related web-based user-interfacesProvide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platformsWork directly with users in the field to implement new features and debug issuesProvide technical/functional guidance, and support to other team membersWork closely with product owners and managers to develop engineering roadmapsDevelop and support features on both the backend and frontendMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree and at least 5 years of software engineering experience or comparable education and relevant experienceMinimum of 5 years of experience working with Python, Java, Javascript Minimum of 2 years of experience in building and maintaining ETL workflows and data pipelinesExperience with AWS (S3) or similar cloud-based infrastructureExperience working with data in relational databasesExperience with full-stack development, including but not limited to working with APIs, javascript frameworks, and relational databases, with focus on backend developmentExcellent verbal and written communication skillsNice If You HaveExperience with Cassandra, React, Kafka, GrafanaExperience using Git and Jira in a development workflowExperience creating data models and visualizations from relational databasesExperience working in an agile environmentExperience with data migrations#RemoteTwo Six Technologies is committed to providing competitive and comprehensive compensation packages that reflect the value we place on our employees and their contributions.
