We are currently seeking a skilled Structural Welder to join our team.SUMMARY:As a Structural Welder, you will be responsible for the welding and fabrication of critical structural components for various maritime and shipbuilding projects. In this role, you will also be required to perform some electrical work, utilizing your expertise as an Electrician.Key Responsibilities:- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately weld structural elements- Operate a variety of welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders- Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs as needed- Ensure all work meets industry standards and safety protocols- Collaborate with the engineering team to resolve technical challengesREQUIREMENTS:- 3+ years of experience as a Structural Welder in a shipyard or heavy manufacturing environment- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications- Certified in multiple welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding- Electrician certification or demonstrated experience in electrical work- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
