Learning Hive LLC partners with schools, families, and community groups to provide engaging enrichment opportunities that support academic growth and real-world skills. Role Description The Student Coach Assistant – FIRST LEGO League (FLL) is a part-time (Sunday 1 pm - 3 pm), on-site role based in Ashburn VA. This position supports FLL student teams during classes practices and events by helping facilitate robotics activities, guiding students through building and programming LEGO robots, and reinforcing core FLL values such as teamwork, innovation, and professionalism. QualificationsExperience participating in FIRST LEGO League (FLL) competitions.Knowledge of LEGO robotics, programming, and robot design.Ability to mentor and guide students in STEM learning.Strong teamwork, communication, and leadership skills.Experience with problem-solving and engineering design processes.Familiarity with FLL Core Values, Challenge missions, and judging process.Ability to assist with coaching, practice sessions, and competition preparation.Enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students in robotics and STEM.Experience working with children or youth in educational or extracurricular settings (preferred).
