Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering
Position Summary Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering – Design and develop software applications and platforms to support digital strategies and solutions in the pharmacy domain. Responsibilities Analyze user needs and develop software solutions to meet business requirements Determine feasibility of solutions, design architecture, and prepare technical design documentation Upgrade existing software applications and systems to improve functionality, performance, reliability, and maintainability Write and review high‐quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing Develop and deploy application components, support unit testing, and address bug fixes Participate in AGILE Scrum meetings and CI/CD practices Support applications, systems, and databases used for processing prescriptions, claims, and related healthcare activities Collaborate with cross‐functional teams on application development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices Lead development of high‐complexity, high‐risk solutions independently Qualifications Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field Five (5) years of progressive, post‐baccalaureate experience in software development engineering or related occupation Five (5) years of experience in CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or DevOps Experience with Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Experience with infrastructure components such as GCP or CPU Deep knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) Proficiency in writing application code and deploying to production Experience developing backend services, performing code reviews, and collaborating with peers on software solutions Familiarity with software development best practices Ability to design data models and solutions for analytical and reporting use cases Compensation & Benefits Pay Range: $147,680.00 – $213,210.00 per year (base salary). Eligible for bonus, commission, short‐term incentive, and equity award programs.
