our engineering organization and help shape the next chapter of Net-Inspect.The OpportunityIn Net-Inspect’s top engineering role, you will:Lead and grow a multidisciplinary team of software developers the platform supports rapid delivery without compromising security or stabilityDrive adoption of technologies that enable our AI/LLM initiatives and next-generation platform capabilities.Execution & DeliveryLead weekly sprint planning, prioritization, and release managementKeep the backlog healthy and well-aligned with business goalsEnsure on-time delivery of high-quality features and enhancementsPartner with Product and the Executive Team to align engineering work with company strategySecurityMaintain strong working knowledge of FedRAMP Moderate, NIST 800-53 Rev 5, and related standardsOversee Continuous Monitoring activities and security postureLead vulnerability management, static/dynamic analysis, and software composition analysisOwn incident response, root cause analysis, and operational excellenceConduct disaster recovery planning, testing, performance tuning, and trainingLead the annual third-party security audit (conducted by 3PAO)Platform Resilience & Risk MitigationConduct comprehensive analyses of single points of failure across the entire platform—application, data, networking, and operational layersDesign and implement robust mitigation strategies (redundancy, failover, fault isolation, chaos testing, etc.) to eliminate customer-impacting outagesDevelop architectural patterns that ensure continuity of operations even in rare or “black swan” scenariosPartner with Security and Infrastructure to model extreme-case risks and ensure the platform can withstand unexpected load, dependency failures, or regional disruptionsBuild a culture of proactive resiliency planning, encouraging teams to anticipate failure modes long before they become real-world eventsCustomer & Stakeholder PartnershipRepresent Net-Inspect as the technical leader in key customer and stakeholder discussionsDesign and estimate new projects directly with customersSupport high-level escalations and cross-team technical problem solvingContribute to roadmap planning across engineering, product, and executive teamsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent experience7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in engineering leadershipStrong background in cloud-based SaaS architecture (Azure preferred)Proven success building secure, scalable, and reliable systemsDeep familiarity with:App Services, Function Apps, and App Service EnvironmentsAzure Firewall and Application GatewayDNS, Networking, and Secure RoutingAzure SQL, CosmosDB, Blob StorageService Bus Queue and RedisKey Vault and App ConfigurationAzure DevOps Agents and PipelinesExperience leading teams in regulated environments (FedRAMP, DoD, ISO27001, etc.)Excellent communication, leadership, and delivery management skillsU.S. citizen (required to work with sensitive customer data)Preferred Qualifications3+ years leading a SaaS platform through formal security auditsExperience with
