Apply Today!Job Summary and QualificationsPerforms those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures, for the purpose of detecting pathology, evaluating function, or as a means of assisting in the provision of treatment. Operates all the equipment utilized within the department, and develops and organizes films for presentation to the radiologist. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow co-workers, other departments, and Medical Staff. Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.What qualifications you will need:Successful completion of a vocational program from a school of UltrasoundAbility to perform all sonographic procedures according to established guidelines utilizing  appropriate equipmentRegistered and certified with the A.R.D.M.S. requiredMust be registered in either OB or Abdomen Must also be registered in Vascular (RVT) (All employees hired/transfer after 1/1/2020 will have 6 months to acquire their RVT)Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationHCA Florida Palms West Hospital is a 204-bed facility in Palm Beach County. We offer preventative and elective programs and surgeries. We are an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Primary Stroke Center. HCA Florida Palms West Hospital has emergency services, a dedicated New Life Center and a Level II NICU. We have a full-service Children’s Hospital. Services include outpatient rehabilitation, an aquatics center, orthopedic spine center, robotics, and interventional radiology.
