Confidential Employer.Job DescriptionDefend products liability matters involving asbestos, silica, benzene, and other complex exposuresHandle personal injury and wrongful death litigation from early case strategy through resolutionDraft, review, and revise pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other litigation documentsDevelop defense strategy with minimal supervision and advise clients on risk, exposure, and case directionManage fact development, formal discovery, witness interviews, and trial preparationTake and defend depositions of plaintiffs, fact witnesses, experts, and corporate representativesWork closely with retained experts and prepare them for deposition and trialRepresent clients in court, hearings, mediations, and other litigation-related proceedingsPrepare responses to written discovery, objections, and deposition-related filingsTravel as needed for depositions, hearings, mediations, trials, and related case activityMaintain a minimum annual billable requirement of 1,800 hours QualificationsJ.D. requiredLicensed in Washington StateOregon license is a plus5+ years of litigation experienceTrial experience is a plusStrong writing, deposition, analytical, and case management skillsAbility to work independently and handle complex litigation with limited supervisionExperience with science- or medicine-driven litigation issues is strongly preferred Why You Will Love Working HereWe offer the opportunity to do sophisticated litigation work in a firm that combines strong professionalism with a supportive and down-to-earth culture.
