Operations Lead Specialist

🚨 Russell Tobin & Associates is seeking an Ops Lead Specialist – Reconciliation & Analysis 🚨We’re hiring an Ops Lead Specialist (R&A) to support a leading financial services firm. This role is ideal for someone with reconciliation and fund accounting experience who is looking to take on a more hands-on, leadership-oriented position within operations.📍 Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in office)⏱ Schedule: 40 hours/week📅 Duration: Contract through December (contract-only)💼 What You’ll Do:• Reconcile books and records for client security positions and cash accounts• Ensure daily production meets quality and timeliness standards• Coordinate intraday and end-of-day reconciliation priorities• Monitor, investigate, and resolve breaks and discrepancies• Communicate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to resolve issues• Produce and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly reporting• Identify error trends and recommend process improvements• Support system upgrades, testing, and reconciliation product rollouts• Train and mentor junior team members and assist with workflow documentation• Contribute to ongoing process efficiency and productivity initiatives📊 What We’re Looking For:• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)• 1–2 years of Global Fund Accounting experience• Strong knowledge of reconciliation processes and operations workflows• Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills• Strong communication skills (written & verbal)• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment• High attention to detail with a proactive, self-starter mindset• Ability to work both independently and within a team➕ Nice to Have:• Experience with Access Databases• Exposure to operational process improvements or system enhancements💡 This is a great opportunity to gain deeper exposure to reconciliation, client reporting, and operational leadership within a highly collaborative environment.📩 Interested or know someone who might be a fit?
